Our Story
Salamander Gifts is a division of wholesale company Salamander Graphix. Salamander
Graphix was founded in 1967 by Bill Brady, who still holds the position of CEO
and owner. We are proud to celebrate our 40th anniversary this year.
It all began in 1967 with a line of Native American
jewelry and gifts and has evolved in to creating a variety of unique gifts over
the years, including jewelry, ornaments, aprons, cutting boards, oven mitts,
pillows and women's accessories.
In the early 1990s, the creation of our popular
fine art umbrellas began and several lines of matching accessories followed.
In the early 2000's we began a line of "liberty signs" distressed
antique reproduction signs, clocks, neon clocks and mini matchbox clocks. Our
patented sparkle nightlight and other novelty designs were launched in 2003/2004.
Our latest line of "Counter Culture"
housewares line is due to launch October 1st, including a new line of acrylic
cutting boards, hotmitts, trivits and coaster sets. In accessories we are adding
new constructions of Designer Umbrellas, Tailored Totes™, Too Cool Totes™,
and Insulated Beach bags.
Today Salamander continues to develop and offer
a variety of unique gifts and accessories using fine art images, photography,
paintings, and our own original artwork.
